Red, White and Boom Science Spectacular
2:15 p.m. Saturday and 3:15 p.m. Sunday
Watch in wonder while we explore the chemistry and physics of things that go up, materials that change color and the science of things that go flash . . . and bang!

Watermelon Explosion
12:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Saturday, and 1:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Sunday
Nothing says summer like watermelon and fireworks. What happens when you combine a chemical reaction, the explosion of fireworks and a watermelon? Be sure to stop out and see for yourself in this explosively fun demonstration.

BASF Kids’ Lab: Rainbow Connection
11 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday
Explore the rainbow of colors that light up the night sky as fireworks explode. Guests of all ages will "ooh and ahh" while learning about color and chromatography in this fun, hands-on workshop using the pigments and dyes of rainbow candy, markers and more to make a colorful paper firework to take home!  

Alka-Seltzer Rockets
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday
Countdown to launch . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1! Have you ever wondered how fireworks get so high in the sky? Explore chemistry and physics while launching your own rocket using common fuel, and stand back as your rocket soars into the sky.

Light-up Duck® Tape Wearable
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday
Let your imagination soar! Use Duck® Tape and LEDs to make a necklace, pin, hat, bracelet, or other piece of flair to wear as you shine the night away. 

Dynamic Density Cart Activity
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday
Levitating liquids, floating fluids or mysterious matter? We'll determine why some objects float while others sink while making a "patriotic density column" to help uncover the mysteries of how the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) helps make our Great Lake great!
