Explore the Mather like never before!

We are VERY excited to announce behind-the-scenes "Hard Hat" tours of Steamship William G. Mather during the 2019 Cleveland Tall Ships weekend!

Have you ever wondered what it was really like to live and work on the Mather? Walk the catwalk like the Chief Engineer did and be sure to look down over the workings of the ship. Learn all about how the ship (and her crew) changed over time until her retirement in 1980. Walk below the deck as you explore the inner workings of a steam engine and stand beside the propeller shaft in the depths of the ship! See the dark hold, the pump deck, Stack casing, the anchor windlass and more! Space is limited and advance reservations required. (Walk-up registrants are not allowed.)

Mather Hard Hat tours run during Cleveland Tall Ships weekend:

July 11 from 9-11 a.m.
July 12 from 9-11 a.m.
July 13 from 9-11 a.m.
July 14 from 10 a.m.-noon
